National Lottery Open Day

Free entry for all National Lottery players* from 10am - 5pm (last entry: 4pm)
As a thank you to National Lottery players, who raise around £32 million every week for Good Causes, National Lottery-funded venues across the UK will be offering free entry, exclusive discounts and special experiences from the 7th to the 15th of March 2026.
At Newcastle Castle, we as a charity, are grateful to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, for having enabled us to open our doors to the public in 2015.
We are therefore inviting all National Lottery players to visit our site for FREE on Monday 9th of March!
*To gain free entry to our site on this day, all you need to do is show our lovely welcome hosts that you have purchased a lottery ticket that day.
